These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of the RegioPlacas mobile application ("the App"), operated by JAMAK AI S.A.S. de C.V. ("JAMAK", "we"), domiciled in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico.

1. Description of the service

RegioPlacas is a free vehicle management application for owners of vehicles registered in Nuevo León:

  • Check vehicle registration (refrendo) status
  • Review available vehicle information and a summarized violations guide
  • Review a summarized guide to Monterrey traffic duties
  • Open the official REPUVE portal to perform a check
  • Receive alerts and reminders about deadlines
  • Store insurance policy details
  • Store vehicle documents digitally
  • Access emergency guides and useful contacts
  • Use a local guide to organize and follow up on a private-party vehicle sale in Nuevo León

2. Requirements for use

  • You must be at least 18 years old
  • You must provide truthful and up-to-date information
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You may only register vehicles you own or are authorized to manage

3. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to use the App to:

  • Perform automated mass queries (scraping)
  • Resell or redistribute obtained information
  • Register third-party vehicles without their authorization
  • Any illegal activity or activity that violates Mexican law
  • Attempt to access other users' data
  • Interfere with the operation of the App

4. Vehicle information

Available vehicle information comes from public sources in Nuevo León. It may be held temporarily in cache, and we do not guarantee its accuracy, freshness, completeness, or availability. RegioPlacas is not a substitute for an official certificate, account statement, or ruling. For procedures and legal or financial decisions, verify directly with the authority identified in the App.

5. No government affiliation

RegioPlacas is an independent application developed by JAMAK AI. It is not affiliated with, associated with, authorized by, or endorsed by the Government of Nuevo León, ICVNL, or any other government entity.

6. Safe Sale NL

Safe Sale NL is an organizational guide. Its checklist, handoff date, activity log, and reminders are generated on your device. RegioPlacas does not prepare or certify contracts, signatures, or identification; does not change the registered owner with ICVNL; does not release the seller from liability; and does not replace legal advice. The shareable activity log is not an official certificate or proof that the procedure is complete. The 30-calendar-day window is shown only as a reference to the rules in effect when this version was published: confirm current requirements, timing, and legal effects directly with ICVNL.

7. Vehicle insurance

In this launch, RegioPlacas lets you store policy details but does not offer insurance quotes, purchasing, or payments. JAMAK is not an insurer or insurance agent. Any future commercial feature will be governed by updated notices and terms before it is enabled.

8. Intellectual property

All content of the App is the property of JAMAK AI or its licensors. No intellectual property rights are granted by using the App beyond a personal use license.

9. Traffic and emergency guides

Traffic, duties, fines, and emergency guides are informational summaries, may vary by municipality, and are not legal, mechanical, medical, or insurance advice. In an emergency, contact 911, the appropriate authority, and your insurer when applicable.

10. Limitation of liability

JAMAK shall not be liable for decisions made based on information displayed in the App, fines or surcharges resulting from outdated information, or service interruptions.

11. Service availability and changes

The service is free, with no ads or subscriptions in this launch. External sources may change, restrict queries, or become unavailable. We may temporarily suspend features for security, maintenance, or compliance and will provide notice of material changes when reasonably possible.

12. Applicable law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. For any dispute, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Monterrey, Nuevo León.
